Enlightenment is not just a book store; we are a vehicle for spiritual guidance. We host classes, workshops, seminars, fairs, and a variety of events. For all those seeking knowledge and new ways of empowerment to face their future, we are proud to have some of the most honest, grounded, and faithful Psychic-Mediums and Tarot Readers in town. Our center is clean, vibrant and uplifting for our customers. Our goal is to provide a beautiful space with a wide selection of body, mind and spiritual books and gifts. We take pride in listening, offering spiritual guidance and giving a hug when one is needed. Friendships bloom from the seeds we plant. Currently we have readers on Thursdays and Fridays, eventually we hope to have them available six days a week. Workshops and Special Gatherings are offered throughout the year. Our new center is a historical building that has been ingrained with the energy of people helping people. It was the original fire house for the city of Riverside. When we acquired the building, the assistance league was running a non-profit organization where they helped many poor and homeless people. It makes perfect sense for us to have been blessed with such an important space in order to continue helping people with guidance that lights the ways to enrich their lives. When people walk into our center, they can immediately feel the positive energy that circulates throughout. Our music, crystals, candles, and incense keep our facility flowing with a relaxing atmosphere. Our yoga studio will open its doors at the end of January 2009. We are being guided by spirit on providing a small sanctuary for children and teens. This will be Enlightenments Zen Garden. Our mission is to provide a means for creative expression. My children and yours are the basis for this creation along with the guidance from spirit, to whom we so humbly thank for all of our blessings, strength and abundance that fills our lives in so many ways.
 

Our inspiration for the center is Arion Evangelist Artavia born on March 17, 2000. At the age of 2 he was clearly seeing into the spirit world where he was connecting with his cousin Marily Artavia who passed away in an accidental drowning back in 1988. Arion is able to connect what we call God’s energy, who he says is his source of messages along with angels, guides, friends, and family who are in spirit. Arion is a gifted child in many ways and has had many different visitations. Because of messages from spirit, he has a younger brother Rohan and a baby sister Caeliah who was conceived miraculously! As I look back my oldest daughter Ivanna, who was born in 1983, also used to see and receive messages from our great-grandfather when she was only 2 years old. She is very intuitive and receives many messages through her dreams. I also have three other sons: Popo, Giorgio, and Adrian. I also have a granddaughter named Selene Starr-Marie. My sister Debbie who has many jobs at Enlightenment, much of our success is attributed to her involvement spiritually and physically. She has two daughters. Her oldest daughter Gina is now working with us at the store. Her youngest, Gianna, also has experiences with spirit and is able to see those who have crossed. Our center was able to manifest with the financial help of my husband Victor and a lot of physical work done by family and friends.

Enlightenment was started through prayer. When Arion was 3, his experiences with spirit were almost on a daily basis. Some were making me fearful, because they were earthbound. I did not know a lot about clairvoyance so I started looking for information on children with psychic abilities. There was not a lot out there. I knew his experiences were not going away and education was the only way I would be able to understand what he was experiencing. We started going to psychic fairs and metaphysical stores but it was not enough. I began praying and asking god “If you gave me this son with these abilities, then how will I be able to parent him?” With that I received a message to open a store and we would meet the people, have the books and tools, and we ourselves will learn. We are thankful for all of the psychics, mediums, healers, teachers, and people who have been with us from the beginning like Bobbi Aguirre, Elizabeth Fox, Share Starwas, and Van Doren. I am currently working on a manual for parents of Indigo, Crystal , Rainbow and Star children. Parents need to educate themselves to better nurture these new children so that they may spiritually and mentally be ready to help make a change in this world we live in today.
